Nest WiFi Pro Routers Reach All-Time Low Prices in Google’s Smart Home Sale

A mesh WiFi system may be what you need if a single point of access for your wireless connections isn’t cutting it. There are other routers, including Google’s Nest WiFi Pro 6E routers, that can be bought right now on Amazon and Google’s own website. A three-pack of the Pro routers is down to $320, a 20% reduction and a new low. The offer is part of a bigger Amazon sale that includes discounts on other Nest smart home gadgets such as doorbells, cameras, and thermostats.

The Nest WiFi Pro routers employ the most recent WiFi 6E technology, covering up to 6,600 square feet and providing access to the newly available 6 GHz band, which provides compatible devices with better throughput and more consistent connections, especially in densely populated regions. The routers are Matter-compatible and function as Thread border routers, which may come in handy when you add new devices to your connected smart home, such as smart plugs and lights. And, unlike some routers, the rounded form is attractive enough to show on a shelf without making you feel the need to conceal it.

The Nest Thermostat is also included in the sale for $99. That’s roughly $10 more than its lowest price this year, but it’s still a good 23 percent off. By creating schedules and not heating or cooling your area when you’re not home, the smart thermostat can help you save energy. It also allows control via the app or with your preferred smart assistant (unless you choose Siri). Before you get started, make sure your system is compatible.

A battery-powered version of the Nest Doorbell is also available. It’s now $130 following a 28% drop from its original price of $180. That’s also roughly $10 more than its lowest price ever, which we witnessed during the Thanksgiving shopping season last year. The video doorbell sends warnings and videos to your smartphone or compatible smart display, allowing you to see, hear, and speak to whoever answers the door.
